Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of the Public Health Department, Lower Dir, Malik Basheer Khan, stated that the issue of clean drinking water in Rabat will be addressed on a priority basis. He was speaking to the residents of Rabat during his visit to inspect the water supply scheme upon the invitation of the Chairman of Youth welfare organization Kotkay Rabat, Syed Haroon Bacha, and other dignitaries, including Dr. Jamal Shah, Deedar Syed Bacha, Saeed Bacha, Syed Sagftgeen Shah Bacha, Azghar Syed Pacha, Usman Syed Pacha, Dr. Sajjad, Malik Hameed, Munawar Syed, and Maulana Ghani Rahman.
Malik Basheer Khan emphasized that water is a basic necessity, and urged people to avoid wasting clean drinking water unnecessarily. He assured the provision of an electricity transformer for the Rabat Kotkay water supply scheme, along with the construction and repair of a water tank. He directed residents without water supply connections to contact the office to have their connections installed. Additionally, he warned against illegal water connections, stating they would be severed, and no one would be allowed to use water unlawfully. He reassured the locals of his department’s full cooperation.
