Muzaffarabad: In a remarkable event, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K), Muzaffarabad, witnessed the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Software Technology Park, a joint venture of Special Communications Organization (SCO) and Read Foundation. The inauguration ceremony was attended by SHG Director General, Major General HI(M) Umar Ahmed Shah, who officially opened the park.
The newly established Software Technology Park in the AJ&K capital is set to transform the region’s IT landscape. The park will create job opportunities for youth in AJ&K and help the local workforce learn information technology skills. This will also contribute to the economic development of the country and bring prosperity to the region.
During the inauguration ceremony, SCO Director General Major General Umar Ahmed Shah shared his excitement about the future of the Software Technology Park. He said: “Today is a historic day for AJ&K as we open this advanced Software Technology Park in the capital. The project shows our commitment to innovation and development of advanced technology in AJ&K. This will help improve the skills of our youth, create jobs for them and promote AJ&K as a major IT hub I look forward to seeing their positive impact on the local economy and their success.
