UPPER DIR: Employees of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University in Sheringal continued their protest for the second day, demanding resolution of their grievances. staff from the Wari campus were also joined the protest, raising slogans in support of their demands.
According to Epmloyees of Associattion SBBU Sheringal Upper Dir, spokesperson Rahim ullah said to this correspondent that All the administrative staff from grade 17 to 19 have joined the strike, and the employees have decided to continue their protest until their demands are met.
The protest has resulted in the closure of all university offices, from today, university vehicles will also remain stationary. pro vice Chancellor Abdul Khaliq Jan and Director Finance Murad Hussain met with the protesters to discuss their demands.
The protesters, led by Khurram Murad, President of the Welfare Association, emphasized that their demands are legitimate and they will continue their peaceful protest until they are addressed.
