Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday hailed the visit of a Saudi investment delegation to Islamabad as a milestone in strengthening ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Presiding over the meeting of the Federal Cabinet, the Prime Minister praised the commitment of federal ministers, government officials and workers to ensure the success of the visit of the Saudi delegation.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed a positive view of the Saudi business delegation about the readiness and confidence shown by the federal minister and members of the government delegation. Such accolades bode well for the country’s future.
Reflecting on his interaction with the delegation of Saudi Arabia during dinner, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the unprecedented gratitude from the leader of the Saudi delegation. He said he would hold a special meeting to personally recognize the efforts of cabinet members and government officials who contributed to the success of the visit.
The Prime Minister praised the leader of the delegation of Saudi Arabia for receiving understanding and knowledge of Pakistani officials, their participation in meetings, their guidance, speeches and follow-up. The Saudi delegation was pleased with the visit and highlighted a promising new chapter in Pakistan’s development.
Considering the huge effort, Chief Minister Shehbaz congratulated the cabinet members and the federal secretary and said that the positive thinking of the Saudi delegation brought happiness not only to him but to the entire nation.
At the meeting, the Federal Cabinet, on the recommendation of the Ministry of Aviation, approved flight operations to China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Great Britain and Kuwait as per the National Aviation Policy 2023 of the Air Force and the Air. Service Agreement.
In addition, the ministers endorsed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Colombia on the establishment of a Joint Trade Committee. It also approved the transfer of the Directorate General of Special Education from the Ministry of Human Rights to the Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. The Cabinet of Ministers also approved a decision on Chinese investment projects made at a Cabinet meeting held on April 30, 2024.
