Islamabad : On a special invitation from Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Al-Maliki, Syed Tariq Mahmood Al-Hassan, the managing director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, paid a visit to the Saudi Embassy. During the visit, he was cordially received by the Saudi Ambassador. He complimented Syed Tariq Mahmood Al-Hassan on taking up Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal’s managing directorship.
The managing director of Bait-ul-Mal recognized Saudi Arabia’s unique interest in a number of global social fields. He said that the two friendly nations have always helped one another through hard times, and Saudi Arabia has continuously given Pakistan’s economy and social welfare first priority, which shows how trusting the two countries are of one another.
The Saudi Ambassador and the Managing Director of Bait-ul-Mal reached an agreement to cooperate on projects related to Pakistan’s social sectors during the meeting. The Managing Director of Bait-ul-Mal received assurances from the Saudi Ambassador that 100 orphans sponsored by Pakistan Sweet Home would be cared for, and official documentation pertaining to this will shortly be signed. Furthermore, in order to facilitate the distribution of ration bags during Ramadan, the Saudi Embassy will work with Bait-ul-Mal. Additionally, additional collaboration will be pursued for other social projects in Pakistan.
In the past, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal and Saudi relief agencies as well as other social groups from Saudi Arabia have worked together on a number of projects targeted at the welfare of the poor and vulnerable people. With Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad has continuously maintained a positive and productive working relationship.
In addition to giving gifts to His Excellency the Saudi Ambassador, Managing Director Syed Tariq Mahmood Al-Hassan also conveyed his appreciation for their unwavering support of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal’s endeavors.
