Tea is a beverage or drink without which life of a common man is considered to be incomplete. Man’s daily life starts with taking tea in breakfast which continues till sleeping during which he or she takes tea several times depending on the weather condition and his/her mood.
During routine life, when we meet any friend, colleague or any other person we firstly invite him/her of taking tea with us.
This highlights how much importance the ‘tea’ holds in our daily life and without it life seems of the incomplete.
During recent days, many upper areas of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received rainfall and snowfall was reported in mountainous areas while smog condition continued in lower areas of province. On the other hand, major areas of Punjab remained in the grip of smog.
This smog condition has lower the temperature in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Islamabad as well. Though day time weather is not felt much but coldness in weather is felt on early morning and after evening.
This drop in temperature has increased the sale of the tea. A little more crowd of people than routine is witnessed on hotels and tea stalls in the two provinces and also in the federal capital. People can be seen enjoying taking tea during cold weather.
A tea stall owner from Sector G-7 Islamabad informed the Public Purview that sale of tea doubled during last three days due to decrease in temperature. He said that he uses fresh milk for making tea and during last two days was left with no fresh milk after 7pm and had to use packet milk to deal the customers.
