Gardening is the healthy activity and it is very important for the national community for their proactive physical and mental health. Today the gardening habits among the young generation in Pakistan can play a significant role in developing positive changes in their behavior, particularly in terms of soft skills. In the context of soft skills, gardening teaches young generation to take responsibility for their plants, which can translate to other areas of life, such as academics and personal relationships secondly the gardening also requires patience, as plants take time to grow and flourish. This helps young generation develop patience and perseverance. Thirdly, caring for plants can foster empathy and compassion in young people, as they learn to understand and respond to the needs of living organisms. Fourthly, gardening can be a collaborative activity, teaching young people the importance of teamwork, communication, and cooperation.
Fifth one activity the gardening presents various challenges, such as pests, diseases, and weather conditions. Young people can develop problem-solving skills by learning to address these issues. Moreover, the gardening activity develop fruitful positive changes in the baviour of young generation as well e.g. Gardening has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety in young people, promoting mental well being and the sense of accomplishment and pride that comes with gardening can boost self-esteem and confidence in young people. It is obviously observed from the gardening habit, it can encourage physical activity, such as digging, planting, and watering, which can help combat sedentary lifestyles.
Gardening requires regular maintenance, teaching young people to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively and gardening can foster environmental awareness and appreciation, encouraging young people to adopt sustainable practices and reduce their ecological footprint. From the above picture it is concluded that gardening is one of the beautiful activities, which can only change the mindset of young generation from harshness to softness behaviour in their lives and the society of the Pakistan.
To promote gardening in Pakistan various initiative will be taken i.e Initiatives to Promote Gardening among Young People in Pakistan. Firstly, to Integrate gardening into school curricula, providing hands-on experience and education on gardening and sustainability. Secondly, to establish community gardens, where young people can participate in gardening activities, learn from experienced gardeners, and develop a sense of
community. Thirdly, to Organize workshops and training programs to teach young people gardening skills, such as plant care, composting, and irrigation management. Fourthly, the host gardening competitions, where young people can showcase their gardening skills, creativity, and innovation.
The last one important task is that to Utilize social media platforms to promote gardening among young people,
sharing tips, advice, and inspiring stories of gardening successes. PAKISTAN PAINDA BAD
