Dhudial: A hut near Balkasar bus stop caught fire, but Rescue 1122 responded promptly, preventing further damage. The Rescue Command and Control Room Chakwal received a call from Balkasar reporting a fire in a hut that was rapidly spreading. The Command and Control Room immediately dispatched a motorbike ambulance service from a nearby point, an ambulance service from Balkasar Point, and a fire vehicle from the central station to the incident site.
Upon arriving at the scene, a quick assessment was conducted, and firefighting operations were initiated. After approximately 20 minutes of firefighting, the fire was completely brought under control.
The fire had broken out in a hut located at a wood depot. Rescue 1122’s timely response and effective firefighting efforts saved a large quantity of wood stored at the depot. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
