LAHORE: Leader of Opposition Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar has filed a complaint against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) in the Supreme Judicial Council.
Ahmad Khan filed a 430-page reference in the Lahore High Court registry.
In the reference, he alleged that the CEC, members of the ECP, were biased in the 2024 general elections and alleged that the polls were rigged.
He reiterated that CEC members are not fulfilling their legal and constitutional obligations.
The link demanded immediate ouster of CEC, ECP members from their offices.
The Leader of Opposition requested to direct the members of CEC, ECP to relinquish their duties till the final verdict on the reference.
