On August 26, 2022, the reconstruction of the Khal-Japan Link Bridge, which was washed away in a flood, has begun through the joint efforts of Frontier Corps North and local elders, bringing a wave of joy to the area.Three years ago, a section of the Khal-Japan Link Bridge was swept away by a severe flood, cutting off the land connection for millions of residents in the area. Since then, locals have been forced to cross the Panjkora River using a dangerous makeshift swing, facing extreme difficulties.Now, with the joint efforts of Frontier Corps North and local elders, construction work on the bridge has officially commenced. The project was inaugurated by Commandant Dir Scouts, Brigadier Sanaullah, alongside local elders. A grand ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by a large number of local elders and citizens, with Brigadier Sanaullah as the chief guest.The bridge is expected to be completed within four months, with local elders arranging Rs. 50 million for the project through the generous support of philanthropists. The start of construction work on the bridge has brought immense happiness to the local residents.
