ISLAMABAD : Directorate of Health Services Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad organized an event to honor the invaluable contribution of women in the fight against polio in a laudable initiative on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
ICT spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Tabassum, talking to APP said that the event was graced with the presence of distinguished guests including WHO Coordinator and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.
The event highlighted the significance of International Women’s Day in recognition of the tireless efforts and dedication of women in the polio eradication programme.
