Chakwal- A reception ceremony was held to honor Qabil Jafri’s poetry collection, “Apar”, under the auspices of Dhan Adabi Betak Chakwal. The event was presided over by Dr. Azam Samour, with Aqeel Malik as the special guest and Qabil Jafri as the guest of honor.
Notable attendees included Sajjad Saleem, Professor Shahid Azad, Mudassar Abbas Kahoot, Malik Kashif Awan, Ali Khan, Nabeel Anwar Dhakku, Tahir Jafri, Aqarab Jafri, Advocate Shahid Mahmood, Yousuf Butt, Malik Muhammad Iqbal, Nazar Hussain Naz, Hammad Sarwar, Hammad Zaif, Moaz Hashmi, Roshan Murtaza, and Muhammad Arsalan.
The participants congratulated Qabil Jafri on receiving the plaque award for “Apar” and paid tribute to his literary contributions. Sajjad Saleem, patron of Dhan Adabi Betak Chakwal, presented the Abid Jafri Award for Punjabi Poetry in recognition of Qabil Jafri’s creative services.
The ceremony concluded with a short poetry session, where attending poets shared their works.
