Mardan: The Punjab police have taken into custody 7-vehicles of rescue-1122 Mardan along with 17-personnel during the action against the protesting workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in D-Chowk Islamabad.
The relevant officials told here on Wednesday that the Director General rescue-1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the directives of chief minister Ali Ameen Gandapur had sent rescue-vehicles and personnel belonging to Mardan and other districts along with the PTI protesting Carvaan to capital Islamabad few days back
They told that the Punjab police had taken into custody 17-recuse officials along with 7-vehicles which belonged to Rustam tehsil station of the rescue office.
Some people of relevant area had also complaint about their difficulties and miseries being faced by them owing to non-availability of vehicles in the concerned rescue station.
They alleged that the PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leadership had used government resources including rescue-1122 vehicles and officials during the party D-Chowk protest sit-in held few days back in capital Islamabad.
Talking to this scribe, the civil society members deplored that the KPK provincial rulers were using government resources for their activities of self-interest which was sheer injustice with people of the province.
