Lahore: Provincial Transport Minister Ibrahim Hasan Murad, in a statement, informed the students about the important progress, said that the Punjab Cabinet has approved summary of giving free electric bikes to ten thousand students, Electric bikes will be given on easy terms. Ibrahim Hasan Murad said that with the support of Punjab Bank, electric bikes will be given free of interest on easy terms, while 7 thousand electric bikes will be given to male students and 3 thousand female students.

The Provincial Transport Minister clarified that the students of Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi will be benefited while the youth can send their applications on the PITB portal. Ibrahim Hasan Murad further said that students must have a driving license while such an eco-friendly initiative can reduce environmental pollution and no doubt electric bikes will significantly reduce air pollution.
