Muzaffarabad: The people of Jammu and Kashmir took out a protest march under the auspices of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir against the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Occupied Kashmir.
According to details, people held banners and placards and chanted anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.
Speakers on the occasion said that Narendra Modi cannot deceive the world by visiting Srinagar under military supervision and added that Kashmiris will continue their struggle till independence from India.
The speakers said that Narendra Modi’s visit could not change the disputed international status of Kashmir as the people of Kashmir Valley completely rejected Narendra Modi’s visit.
The speakers said that India exists in an occupied state as an occupier and the Modi government has taken away their state, identity and land from Kashmir through the worst actions in the Indian Lok Sabha on 5 August 2019.
They said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Srinagar, tried to strengthen his military occupation with so-called development packages, road and rail projects.

“The rulers of India are trying to deceive the Kashmiri people by turning Kashmir into a prison, but India should know that the 4 million people of Azad Kashmir will not tolerate and keep raising their voice for their Kashmiri brothers who are suffering Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir,” they added speakers.
They said that the people of Kashmir demand that the UN Security Council fulfill the promise of the right to self-determination that they made to the people of Kashmir.
The protest was led by Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Usman Ali Hashim, Shaukat Javed Mir, Raja Aftab Ahmad Khan, Director Kashmir Liberation Cell Raja Muhammad Sajjad Latif Khan, Sardar Abdul Razzaq Khan, Khalid Mahmood Zaidi, Dr. Muhammad Manzoor, Iqbal Yasin, Muhammad Ishaq Shaheen, Muhammad Aslam Inqalabi, Muhammad Riaz Awan, Faisal Farooq, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Nadeem Ibraheem, Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail, Raja Zakheer Khan, Jaudhra Muhammad, Muhammad Muhammad, H. meel Kashmir and others.
