LAHORE: The two-match test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played in Rawalpindi and Multan in August.
According to sources, the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore is undergoing renovations in preparation for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, which will take some time to complete.
After the work in Lahore, the National Bank Stadium in Karachi will also be upgraded, making it difficult for the PCB to host Test matches.
As a result, Multan and Rawalpindi stadiums were considered as alternative venues. Discussions are ongoing between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to finalize the venue and dates, and the official schedule will be agreed in the coming days.
The two-match series is part of the 2023-2025 ICC Test Championship.
