Pro Hockey League schedule announced, Pakistan will play matches at different venues

Lausanne: The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has announced the schedule for the prestigious FIH Pro League 2025-26, and Pakistan’s national hockey team is gearing up to compete against top teams from around the world.

According to the schedule released by the FIH, Pakistan will face stiff competition from teams like Netherlands, Argentina, Germany, Australia, Spain, Belgium, India, and England in a series of intense matches.The Pakistan Hockey Federation has welcomed the schedule and is busy making preparations for the tournament. “This is a great opportunity for our team to test their skills against the best teams in the world and gain valuable experience,” said a spokesperson for the federation.

The federal government has also shown its support for the team’s participation in the tournament, approving a financial assistance package of Rs250 million to cover the team’s expenses. The Pakistan Sports Board has been tasked with overseeing the team’s participation and ensuring that all logistical arrangements are in place.The FIH Pro League is a premier international hockey tournament that brings together the world’s top teams to compete in a series of matches. Pakistan’s participation in the tournament is seen as a significant step towards reclaiming its spot among the world’s top hockey nations.

The team’s schedule for the tournament is as follows:

– December 9-14, 2025: Pakistan will face Netherlands and Argentina in Argentina.
– February 10-15, 2026: Pakistan will compete against Germany and host Australia in Australia.
– June 13-21, 2026: Pakistan will take on Spain and host Belgium in Belgium.
– June 23-28, 2026: Pakistan will face traditional rival India and England in England.
