In an interview with a private news channel, Senator Sherry Rehman said that Parliament is the most important platform to resolve important issues and dialogue is the most effective way to resolve all political issues.
He said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PHP) is committed to fulfilling its promises, strongly believes in the democratic process and will proudly follow the leadership.
Responding to a question, Senator Sherry Rehman said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party has consistently promoted offensive and divisive policies. “It has fostered a culture of division and aggression,” he said.
Rehman recalled Bilawal Bhutto’s recent speech in Parliament where he called PTI to take responsibility for its actions and apologize to the nation for the violent incident.
He stressed the need for Bilawal to approach PTI’s mature discussions and conduct constructive discussions in parliament.
He emphasized the importance of peaceful protests and democratic practices and urged politicians, especially the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), to follow democratic principles.
