HYDERABAD: Asifa Bhutto Zardari, the head of the Pakistan Peoples Party, claimed that although other parties were vying for power, only the PPP was advancing the agenda of the people.
Speaking at a public event on Thursday night in Kandyari city’s Sanghar area, Asifa Bhutto declared that the PPP’s primary objective was to improve the health sector.
She said, “The PPP government established hospitals offering free treatment because everyone, rich or poor, needed better medical treatment facilities.”
“We have built the best hospital for treating liver disease in Gambbat where free treatment was being provided to the patients not only from Sindh but also from all over the country and abroad,” she stated.
According to Asifa, the PPP intended to build a hospital in Sanghar that would house the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Karachi.
In addition to creating the best road system in the entire district, she claimed that her party’s government had built clean water facilities in the Achro Thar area.
In order for the PPP to resolve all of the people’s complaints once it formed government, Asifa pleaded with the populace to support the party.
