PESHAWAR: A police head constable involved in the Police Lines suicide bombing was arrested from the Peshawar BRT, according to police sources.
The brother of Constable Wali has also been taken into custody on charges of facilitating the attack, sources confirmed.
The arrest of the police officer was made based on the identification by the key suspect, police officials stated.
The mastermind behind the suicide attack, identified as Umar, was arrested a few days ago, police revealed.
The arrested commander pointed out the involvement of the police constable, according to police reports.
Both the arrested officer and his brother have been moved to an undisclosed location for further investigation, police officials said.
Authorities expect major revelations from the detained suspects, police added.
The key arrests may lead to the full exposure of the network behind the attack, police stated.
