Islamabad: The Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) has initiated a campaign titled “Qurbani for All” aimed at including underprivileged families in the joyous Eid al-Adha celebrations. Under this campaign, sacrificial meat will be distributed on the first day of Eid in the federal capital, Islamabad, followed by a grand communal feast on the second day.
Inam ur Rehman, General Secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League Islamabad, shared the details, stating that the campaign will ensure that meat is delivered to underprivileged families across all Union Councils (UCs) of Islamabad. This distribution will be based on an investigative survey conducted by PMML workers. The main slaughterhouse for Eid sacrifices will be set up in the adjoining ground of Rehman Baba Road, I-8 Center, with additional communal slaughterhouses established at eight locations including Margalla Town, Tarlai, Chambeli Road I-10, I-9, PWD, and G-11.
On the second day of Eid, a grand feast titled “Bari Eid Bara Dastarkhwan” will be organized at Rehman Baba Road, I-8 Center, from 4 PM to 7 PM. This event is open to the public, aiming to share the joy of Eid and include expatriates and underprivileged individuals in the celebrations.
Rehman emphasized that the core objective of the “Sacrifice for All” campaign is to ensure that underprivileged people partake in the festive spirit of Eid al-Adha. The PMML is committed to the politics of service, continuously striving to support the community through self-help initiatives.
