Marking May 9 (Black Day) as one of the darkest days in the country’s national history, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that the uprising was a deliberate act of violence by politically minded and brainwashed criminals. they destroyed state institutions and sacred symbols of the state and national heritage sites.
Following the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan last year, violent protests and riots broke out across the country, particularly in garrison towns.
