The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent the schedule of the 10th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to the franchises.
According to the schedule, a maximum of ten matches will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and eight matches will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Karachi National Stadium and Multan Stadium will host five matches each. Additionally, four matches will be played at neutral venues.
Matches were limited in Karachi last season due to crowd attendance. All the ten matches between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars will be daytime matches. Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will play nine matches each, while Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans will play eight matches each in the spotlight.
The Kings will play all five games of the schedule in Karachi. The Qalandars will also play half of the matches at home. Gladiators will play five matches in Lahore. Sultans and United will play five matches each at their respective home venues, namely Multan and Rawalpindi. Zalmi’s five matches will also be played in Rawalpindi.
In addition, the team will report on April 7, 2025. The practical session will continue until April 11. The next day they will play two matches, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators in Rawalpindi, Raja and Multan Sultans in Karawang.
The first leg of the match in Rawalpindi will end on April 19, while the match at the Karachi National Stadium will end on the 21st.
The matches will start on April 22 in Multan and April 24 in Lahore. The final match will be played at Gaddafi Stadium on May 4, after which Rawalpindi will play four matches and Multan will play two matches.
There will be no matches between May 11 and May 14, after which qualifiers will be played at neutral sites on May 15, qualifiers on May 16, qualifiers on May 18 and the final on May 20.
Although the PCB did not reveal the name of the neutral venue in the proposed order, it is likely to be England. Remember that the meeting is a preliminary plan, the franchise will review and communicate with the PCB and changes are possible.
