Muzaffarabad: Chief Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Uzair Ahmed Ghazali has said that the arrest of more than 100 innocent civilians from Rajouri, Poch and Bandipora districts in the occupied state is proof of Indian state repression and terrorism.
In a statement here on Thursday, he said India’s Hindutva-led government was trying to convert the Muslim majority into a minority.
He said that since the colonial act of August 5, 2019, the Delhi government has taken conspiratorial steps to deprive the people of Kashmir of their basic human, political, social and religious rights.
Ghazali said that Indian authorities have once again created an atmosphere of fear and terror in the country by arresting more than 100 innocent civilians from Rajouri, Poch and Bandipora since last few days.
He said that all the oppressive tactics of the Indian government will not work in front of the people of Kashmir.
Uzair said that the resistance movement will continue till the liberation of occupied Kashmir.
“A strong social movement against Indian tyranny and tyranny will begin,” he said.
While paying tribute to the determination and courage of the people of occupied Kashmir, he said that the people of Kashmir made huge sacrifices for the freedom of the country.
Ghazali asked the UN Security Council, an international organization for peace, justice and human rights to pay attention to Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and play a role in the just resolution of the Kashmir issue. .
