MELBOURNE: Cricket Australia on Tuesday announced the Pakistan team’s limited-overs tour schedule, which will see the Green Shirts take on the Kangaroos in November.
The Pakistan team’s tour will see the national side play three ODIs and as many T20I matches, the first of which will begin on November 4 in Melbourne.
The ODI series will culminate on November 10 in Perth and will be followed by the T20I series starting on November 14 in Brisbane.
The Green Shirts’ tour of Australia comes 11 months after the national side faced the Kangaroos in the Benaud-Qadir Trophy, which included three Test matches played in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne between December 2023 and January 2024.
The announcement comes as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) looks to appoint a head coach for the national side – a post left vacant after Grant Bradburn moved to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) following a change in his portfolio in November 2023.
Last week, the board also announced the formation of a reorganized national selection panel comprising former cricketers Mohammad Yousuf, Wahab Riaz, Abdul Razzaq and Asad Shafiq.
The seven-member committee also includes the head coach, who has not yet been named, the captain and an analyst.
