DUBAI: With the T20 World Cup 2024 on the horizon, the Pakistan cricket team has improved its position in the latest T20I rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The Babar Azam-led side, which was ranked seventh in the T20I rankings, has jumped up to become the sixth best side in the shortest game format.
Other teams to improve their position include the fourth-placed West Indies, whose players have been in good form ahead of the Caribbean mega event with the United States from June 1. 29.

In the all-rounder category, Imad Wasim rose four places to the 12th position. Imad and Shadab Khan are 12th in the overall list, occupying one last place.
Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam remain third and fourth respectively in the T20I batting rankings.
Meanwhile, India’s Suryakumar Adadav is the number one T20I batsman, followed by England’s Phil Dooz.
