RIYADH: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Yshaq Dar met with Malaysian Foreign Minister Dato Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hassan and reviewed various relations with special emphasis on developing trade and investment relations.
In a meeting held on the sidelines of a special meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), the two sides agreed to hold the next round of the Joint Ministerial Group in Islamabad later this year.
During the joint ministerial meeting, both sides will explore the market and take full advantage of the opportunities offered in various sectors for material economic results.

Discussing the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, both sides called for an immediate end to the fighting and called for urgent humanitarian aid to Palestine.
They also emphasized closer cooperation within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to find a peaceful and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.
