ISLAMABAD: Petroleum Minister Musadik Masood Malik said that the government has implemented several policies to increase local production of petroleum products such as gas and crude oil.
Addressing the Energy Symposium, Dr Musadik Malik said that we have set up blocks for trading. He said the government is trying to attract global players in the investigation.
The petroleum minister said Pakistan is open for business and aims to digitize its regulatory framework for greater transparency.
Musadik Malik said that Pakistan is also pushing the TAPI pipeline project, saying it will provide cheap gas.
