Almaty with the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan, a visit was organized by a Pakistani business delegation headed by the President of the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Shoaib Basra, to the cities of Almaty and Shymkent.
During the delegation’s stay in Almaty, meetings were held with the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs «Atameken», local business circles and a visit to the «Altyn Orda» market.
During the negotiations, issues of supplying citrus fruits from Pakistan to local markets were discussed.
Further, on December 24, 2023, a delegation visited Shymkent, where meetings were held with the management of the Barys market, the «Continental logistics» and «Turkestan logistic» trade and logistics centers, as well as with the Regional Representative of the «Kazakh Invest» National Company to assess promising areas of cooperation.
In addition, consultations were held with customs officers and brokers of the Customs Clearance Center.
Work has begun on working out the preliminary agreements reached.
