KARACHI: At the second National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) Silicon chapter opening ceremony, General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), was in attendance. The main guest of the event was COAS.
COAS claims that NASTP is a project of significant national and strategic importance that will be very beneficial to the country as a whole since it will progress technology and encourage self-sufficiency by giving the young and future generations of the nation a platform.
COAS expressed its gratitude to PAF for its hard work, leadership, and competent people in assisting NASTP Silicon in reaching yet another important milestone.
The Chief of Air Staff described NASTP’s objectives, which include becoming one of the leading cyber, IT, and aerospace clusters and transforming the nation’s environment by serving as a hub for innovation, design, and R&D for novel and disruptive technologies. This will optimize the advantages for the country’s scientific, social, economic, and security spheres.

When COAS arrived, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, the Chief of the Air Staff, welcomed him.
COAS then proceeded to Corps Headquarters in Karachi. Corps Commander Karachi Corps welcomed the COAS and updated him on operational readiness, training concerns, and administrative measures taken to guarantee the soldiers’ and Shuhada families’ well-being.
