ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has so far disbursed more than $50 billion to more than 47,00,000 beneficiaries from across the country during the Benazir Kafaalat Quarterly Disbursements (April-June).
“Until June 26, Rs. 50 billion has been disbursed to more than 47,00,000 beneficiaries, which is 70 percent of the total beneficiaries,” he said.

A special control room has been activated at the BISP headquarters to directly handle the complaints of the beneficiaries.

BISP currently supports 9.3 million deserving families and is a lifeline for those facing economic hardship.
The Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) Program, also known as the Benazir Guarantee Program, is a flagship initiative of BISP and was launched in 2008.
Since its inception, the UCT/Kafalat initiative has now become the largest cash transfer program in Pakistan’s history.
