BAKKAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday said JUI-F and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are two different political parties and have their own stories.
Speaking to reporters in Bhakkar, Maulana Fazl said “our story should not be related to PTI”.
He believes that the responsibility of conducting the election lies solely with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and that the government has no role in the matter.
The JUI-F chief said that those who played a role in conducting the election did nothing and those who had nothing to do with the election played an important role in the February 8 general election.
He said the 2024 general election was hijacked and his party was defeated by massive fraud.
Commenting on his party’s partnership with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Fazlur Rehman said, “When we face PTI, only then will we decide whether we can form an alliance.”
