ISLAMABAD: Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), an affiliated department of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD), is starting a data collection process for Pakistani nurses interested in exploring potential job opportunities in the United States of America. An official source told APP here on Wednesday that it is part of efforts to identify qualified candidates who meet the necessary criteria for nursing positions in the US healthcare system. He said Generic BSN / Post RN (16 years education) must be for candidate with IELTS English Proficiency Test, Band Overall Score: 6.5 or higher, Speaking Section: 7.0 or higher OR TOEFL. Total Score: 83 or higher (Internet Test or iBT), Section Score including Reading: 21, Listening: 18, Speaking: 26, Writing: 24, Credential Evaluation (CGFNS), Credentials Evaluation (CGFNS), Credentials Evaluation (CGFNS), Credentials should already be evaluated by the CGFNS (Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools) NCLEX-RN Exam. He said candidates must be no older than 45 to take the NCLEX-RN exam, both male and female. Candidates can apply through OEC website https://oec.gov.pk/.
