Islamabad: The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) has been ranked 144th in the world for Engineering and Technology courses. In the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2024, Pakistan has been ranked number one by subject for the eighth consecutive year.
According to the latest ranking, NUST is proud to be ranked among the top 200 universities in the world in Computer Science, Electronics and Electronic Engineering, and Civil and Structural Engineering. Meanwhile, the university is ranked among the top 300 universities in the world for Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics and Industry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Mathematics. NUST also introduces courses in Accounting and Finance, Economics and Econometrics and Medicine.
One notable aspect is the steady increase in the QS World University Rankings by subject. This year, NUST admissions in 15 out of 55 courses are higher than previous courses and placed in 12 out of 54 courses. NUST’s steady rise on the international stage is a testament to its academic excellence, innovation and pursuit of scientific contributions in various fields.
