“I want to congratulate the team because we are officially in the Super 8. I am proud,” said Farooqui, who was named the man of the match.
“I was in the IPL before the warm-up game. Unfortunately, I didn’t get all the opportunities there. I only played the warm-up game. I know how to carry my body and I tried to keep it simple. I’m trying to get some wickets in the game lastly if there is any movement or swing said.
Afghanistan and West Indies are the two teams from Group C that will advance to the Super 8. PNG and New Zealand are now out of the competition.
