The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (NCERT) of Pakistan has issued an advisory regarding a serious vulnerability in Fortinet’s operating system and proxy. According to the advisory, this flaw could allow hackers to gain access to devices and disrupt services.
The document warns that cybercriminals could exploit the vulnerability to interfere with devices and services. In response, Fortinet has released updates to address the issue. The advisory recommends accessing the operating system interface via VPN or secure IP addresses to minimize risks.
Additionally, it advises updating the Fortinet operating system, implementing two-factor authentication for administrative accounts, and enhancing overall security measures.
