Former prime minister and supreme leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, spoke to a crowd at the party’s rally in Hafizabad, emphasizing the country’s success during his stint as premier.
Addressing the rally, Nawaz stated that if he had not been dismissed as prime minister, the country would have flourished, with no unemployment and every household lighted by light.
The PML-N supreme leader praised his government for successfully combatting terrorism and load-shedding in the country. The former prime minister expressed regret that a decision reached by five judges removed a representative of 250 million people.
“If our government had persisted, there would be no unemployment in this country today. “If I were not removed from the prime ministership, the country would be prosperous and there would be no inflation,” Nawaz Sharif stated.
He further stated that his government would have ensured the construction of a new freeway through Hafizabad, comparable to the one that currently connects Lahore.
Nawaz expressed his vision for the nation, saying, “My objective is to put the country on its own feet. We will build freeways in Hafizabad, as we did in Lahore.”
He closed his speech by expressing his commitment to Pakistan’s progress and prosperity, stating that the PML-N would continue to work to provide economic stability and development to the country.
