Islamabad: The people of Pakistan have started celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today with traditional enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
The three-day Eid al-Adha begins on the first day of the month of Shawwal in the Islamic lunar calendar. This festival marks the end of the holy month of Lent.
Religious scholars have pointed out the importance and philosophy of Islamic holidays in all cities, towns and villages of South Asian countries and the main gatherings held in Eid al-Adha, mosques and open spaces. On this occasion, a special prayer was offered for the development and welfare of the country and the welfare of the Muslim community.
This day is marked by sermons and large gatherings shortly after the prayer. In their sermons, the elders showed the importance and philosophy of the Feast of Sacrifice.
As happens every year, people dressed in traditional clothes and recited Eid al-Adha at a nearby mosque. People hug their families, relatives and neighbors and wish them a happy Eid al-Adha.
Special prayers are offered in mosques across the country for the prosperity and development of the nation.
“While Ramadan instills fear in us, it also makes us feel the pain, hunger and suffering of others,” President Zardari said on the occasion.
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, we must pledge to carry these good qualities throughout the year and play our role in the welfare of society,” he said.
In a separate speech, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Eid-ul-Fitr provides an opportunity to practice the spirit of tolerance, contentment and consideration for others.
He urged people to share the joy of Eid al-Fitr with all the suffering people.
The Prime Minister said that the coalition government is constantly working to reduce the economic hardships of the people.
He also invited the public to remember the flood on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
Shehbaz Sharif also accepted the sacrifice of the martyrs who laid down their lives in the war against terrorism and expressed his condolences to their families.
