Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced five initiatives aimed at improving services for residents of the federal capital.
The Prime Minister paid attention to cargo shedding
During Naqeen’s visit to Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters in Islamabad, he said Capital Emergency Services, Capital Waste Management Company, Capital Safe City Hall and Central Business District have been established. He also announced the establishment of the Capital Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) to improve community facilities.
Naqvi said that these measures are part of his efforts to make Islamabad a classic city. In a meeting with the 1122 ambulance service and fire brigade personnel, he urged them to carry out their duties responsibly.
Extreme heat continues across the country
He said the new ambulance service would combine ambulance, fire and rescue services and increase the number of ambulances.
