Islamabad: The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has launched the Short Film Competition 2024 under the inspiring theme “Peaceful Pakistan; Gateway to Prosperity”. This creative competition is open to all individuals who wish to showcase their vision of a harmonious and prosperous Pakistan through the powerful medium of film. Entrants are encouraged to submit their original short films of 4 to 7 minutes that capture the essence of peace as the foundation of national prosperity.
The deadline for entries is April 30, 2024. In recognition of creative excellence and in support of artistic endeavors, NACTA has announced a substantial cash prize for the top three entries: the first place winner will receive Rs. 250,000, the runner-up Rs. 150,000 and the third place winner Rs. 100,000 along with certificates to commemorate their achievements. This initiative not only highlights NACTA’s commitment to promoting peace and prosperity in Pakistan, but also provides a platform for budding filmmakers to contribute to the national narrative.
