Controversial Mufti Qavi has claimed that he will marry Indian dancer and actress Rakhi Sawant today (February 14).
A few days ago, Mufti Qavi proposed to Rakhi Sawant, and she responded positively. Now, their wedding date has been made public.
Speaking on a private TV program, Mufti Qavi revealed that his nikah with Rakhi Sawant will take place on February 14, as per Rakhi’s preference.
Mufti Qavi stated that after marriage, Rakhi Sawant’s attire will be completely Islamic and in accordance with Shariah. He also invited the program host to attend and witness the nikah.
Earlier, in a podcast, Mufti Qavi expressed his feelings about marrying Rakhi Sawant, saying he would proceed if his mother permitted him.
It is worth mentioning that Rakhi Sawant, responding to Mufti Qavi’s marriage proposal, jokingly said, “I’m dying to marry a Maulana! Qavi Sahib, your name itself means ‘strong’—write me some poetry (Kavita)!”
