KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has rejected the extension of the quota system. One of the most important allies of the government declared that the extension of the quota system for 20 years is a clear injustice. According to MNA sources, the MQM has suggested reconsidering its decision to support the ruling coalition at the center against the quota system. “The quota system is an economic and educational murder of people hailing from Urban Sindh,” the MQM lawmakers said. The sources added that the MQM-P plans to convene its meeting to discuss the extension of the quota system.
