KOHAT: During his visit to Kohat, the Provincial Caretaker Minister for Finance, Revenue, Excise, and Narcotics Control Khyber Pakhtunkhwa distributed laptop computers to fresh graduates who had been recruited for internships in various sections at the Water Sanitation Service Company as part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Citizens Improvement Program (KPCIP).
WSSCK CEO Arif Rauf and Advisor Waqas Paracha attended the event.
According to the facts, the WSSCK formally launched a fresh graduates’ internship program in Kohat as part of the KPCIP’s Gender Action Plan in conjunction with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), according to a press release issued here Friday.
Interns recruited through the Fresh Graduates Internship Program will work in various divisions of WSSCK to develop new skills in response to market demands and gain employment.
In this regard, four recent graduates have been placed in the Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Media and Communications areas of WSSCK, where they are gaining practical skills while remaining in the same areas.
