Internet technology company Meta has claimed to have developed a technology that can convert human thoughts into words. However, this technology will not translate every thought into words but will specifically focus on thoughts related to speech or writing intentions.
Meta has not yet given a final name to this technology, as research is still ongoing, but it is currently being referred to as “Brain2Qwerty.” This technology comprises multiple components, including a large chair similar to those found in salons, scanners, cameras, electro-internet wires, and other elements.
The technology is equipped with an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) language model and is integrated with specialized cameras and scanners. Before developing this system, an extensive and advanced AI language model was trained. Participants were asked to sit on the chair and think about writing something, while scanners and cameras captured their mental thoughts and transferred them to a typing machine.
This technology works by connecting electro-internet wires to the human brain, which then capture brainwave signals and transfer them to scanners, cameras, or a system capable of converting these signals into words.
Currently, this technology is in its early stages of research and development. Meta claims that during initial trials, the new system has achieved 80% accuracy in correctly interpreting thoughts into words.
