The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organizer, Maryam Nawaz, announced on Wednesday that the election symbol of her party, the “lion,” will roar on February 8.
Speaking at a gathering in Gajju Matta, Lahore, Maryam conveyed her appreciation for the cordial greeting by saying, “Gajju Matta, I thank you wholeheartedly for your overwhelming welcome.” You have selected me, and in exchange I will work day and night to ensure the well-being of the populace provided you assist the lion in winning.”
She emphasized the PML-N’s infrastructural improvements in Lahore, citing the Orange Line rail and the Speedo Bus service on Ferozepur Road in particular as representations of the late prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to serving the city’s residents.
“We like to inform Lahore that the PML-N set records of service while the opponents remained in silence. Because of [former Chief Justice] Saqib Nisar, the Orange Line could not go live earlier,” she stated.
The PML-N leader added that there was no one to even clean up rubbish in Lahore during the period of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). “On February 8, we shall raise the underprivileged and kick the intruders out of Lahore,” she added.
Maryam proclaimed that the PML-N would alter Pakistan’s and Lahore’s future. On February 8, only the lion will roar in Lahore. I’d like to congratulate everyone ahead of time.
