The “Maryam Ki Masihaai” initiative has been officially launched, aiming to provide medical care to over 5,000 children annually across Pakistan. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the program, marking a significant step towards improving pediatric healthcare in the country. As part of the launch, Nawaz distributed ‘Child Surgery Cards’ to young patients, ensuring they have access to necessary surgeries and medical treatments.
This groundbreaking program is set to be Pakistan’s first facility of its kind, providing comprehensive medical support to children from various provinces, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In cases where government hospitals cannot accommodate surgeries, the initiative will extend its services to private hospitals, ensuring that children receive timely and effective care. Nawaz expressed her commitment to easing the suffering of young patients, underscoring the initiative’s focus on enhancing pediatric health services.
