Mardan: The major success of the President Police, arrested the main accused involved in the murder of two youths near Commerce College, device murder and motorcycle recovered.
According to the details, the special instructions of District Police Chief Zahir Babar Afridi are taking successful actions against the criminal elements of Mardan police. In this connection, the police, under the supervision of SP President Fayyaz Khan, took immediate and effective action and arrested Saheb Waleed Shamsul Islam R/O Hoti, the main accused in the double murder case.
The accused had shot and killed two youths near Commerce College for the past and repetition of Sadis R/O Gharibabad Mayyar and Shahzad R/O Sharifabad bypass road. After the incident, the police investigated modern scientific lines and accessed the accused and arrested him. During the interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime, while the police also recovered the device (pistol) and a motorcycle used in the incident.
Addressing a press conference, SP President Fayyaz Khan said that the district Mardan police are committed to protect the lives and property of the people and the accused involved in serious crimes like murder will be brought to the role of disbelievers. He added that Mardan police have been following a zero tolerance policy against the criminal elements and strict legal proceedings will be continued against such criminals in the future.
