Mardan: Chairman District Usher & Zakat Committee, Malik Jehanzeb Khan paid a visit to Water and Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM) and inspected various sections of the company.
General Manager Muhammad Khalil Akbar briefed the delegates regarding the company’s operations and sanitation services provided to the citizens of Mardan.
Malik Jehanzeb also met with the Chairman Board of Directors WSSCM Engr. Adil Nawaz and Chief Executive Officer Shahid Khan praised the initiatives and efforts been made by the company regarding the cleanliness and beautification of Mardan.During the visit it was decided to establish various Union Councils of Mardan as model UCs and accelerate the pace of awareness campaign among the masses to keep Mardan clean and waste freeHe assured that the poor and needy daily wages staff of the company shall be supported financially through the zakat fund and praised the sanitation staff for keeping Mardan clean and waste free.
He added that the chairmanship of district zakat committee is a challenging task and assured that merit shall be my top priority during the distribution of all the grants and aide received from provincial government.
