Havelian( )The launch ceremony of the Hindi novel “Singlaan” by the renowned poet of Hindi language and literature, Professor Nasir Dawood, organized by Bazm-ul-Ilm-o-Fun Pakistan Hazara, was held at the Modern Age School and College Girls Campus. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Sardar Muhammad Farooq, while former Principal Government Postgraduate College Abbottabad, Professor Mumtaz Haider, participated in the literary gathering as the guest of honor. Dr. Aamir Sohail performed the duties of the director. Dr. Adil Saeed Qureshi and Sohail Ahmed Samim, while presenting their papers on Professor Nasir Dawood’s Hindi novel “Singlaan”, said that the story of Singlaan is a story of love and affection, which has two main characters, but the author has done full justice to the other characters as well.
Professor Nasir Dawood has written excellent dialogues in the novel, the theme of the novel is environment, the author has highlighted the traditions and culture of Hazaras, the indiscriminate deforestation and other issues with excellence. One of the great names among the people who have promoted Hindko literature is Professor Nasir Dawood. Syed Majid Shah congratulated the author, calling his novel a beacon for writers. Guest of honor Professor Mumtaz Haider, while commenting on the novel, Sanglaan, said that I have been friends with Professor Nasir Dawood for forty-five years. He is also a very good administrator. As principal, he ran Shirwan College with excellence and achieved four moons. After success in Naat, Nazm and prose, Hindko also achieved excellence in novels. The host, Mehfil-e-Bazm Ilmi-e-Fun, President Wahid Siraj, congratulated Professor Nasir Dawood on writing a great novel and said that Sanglaan is the first novel of Hindko literature. Professor Nasir Dawood is running a great movement. His lit lamp will provide light to writers. The groom of the ceremony, Professor Nasir Dawood, said that Wahid Siraj’s services for the promotion of science and literature are commendable. He is the pioneer of our tribe. Abdul Waheed Bismil gave great support in the preparation of the novel. He said that writers of local languages are facing many problems. We should protect our traditions and civilization. President of the Mehfil, Professor Sardar Muhammad Farooq, said that it is an honor for me to preside over the launch ceremony of Professor Nasir Dawood’s novel Sanglaan at the literary gathering of Wahid Siraj. The festival of science and art and Wahid Siraj have made immense contributions to Urdu literature in India. The novel Sanglaan is very good, which includes all aspects including love, seriousness, and humor. This novel is in the frame of the poem Qainchi. The promotion of literature in India is the need of the hour, and an increase in its readers is inevitable.
