Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food Zahir Shah Toru, in a video statement, criticized the federal government referring it the product of Form 47. . He called for the government to step down, claiming that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan would soon be released from jail and reclaim the office of the Prime Minister.
Toru alleged that the fake federal government, due to its poor performance and inability to control inflation, was resorting to desperate measures to divert public attention. He expressed his dismay over what he termed as the federal government’s misuse of institutions, accusing it of abducting PTI’s elected members of the National Assembly from parliament. Toru described these actions as a “black day in the history of democracy.”
In response to the remarks made by Rana Sanaullah, Toru lashed out, saying that “Rana Sanaullah should stop his theatrics. No one can stop the PTI rally in Lahore.” Toru reaffirmed PTI’s right to hold rallies across the country, stating that “we are Pakistanis, not foreigners, and PTI can hold its rally wherever it chooses.”
Toru also shed hard words at KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, accusing him of being fearful of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and spreading chaos and disorder in the province. The minister warned the governor to stay within his constitutional limits and to refrain from making statements against the Chief Minister, threatening that if necessary they could “lock up the Governor’s House at any time.”
The KP Food Minister expressed his full confidence in the Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur , supporting his recent statements regarding institutions. He reiterated his backing for the provincial leadership, emphasizing that there was unity in KP’s government.
